Best Interests in Mind

As a lifelong Westbrook resident, I am proud to see both Brendan Saunders and Devin Carney running for District 33 State Senate and 23rd District state representative. Both Brendan and Devin have deep roots in our community and they will always have our best interests in mind at the Capitol.

Brendan was born and raised in Westbrook and he is running for State Senate to give us a strong, local voice. He will work tirelessly against drastic tax increases and will, instead, work to make our area more affordable. It seems every year it gets more expensive, so paying a little less would go a long way for a lot of people – particularly in light of the pandemic.

Devin’s grandparents, Art and Jean Carney, were fixtures in town and Devin used to spend many days here in town with them. He has always fought for Westbrook’s best interests, whether it be preventing the state from raising our car taxes to preserving and protecting our shoreline. He is always looking for ways to keep more retirees in Connecticut, and that goes a long way with me.

I hope your readers will vote to elect Brendan and re-elect Devin. They will always do what’s right for Westbrook.
