It’s so rare in this current contentious political climate that you find a candidate who is as authentic, caring, and committed to working for a safe, thriving, and healthy environment for our future as John-Michael Parker. John-Michael is the Democratic candidate for state representative of the 101st District of Connecticut, which includes Madison and Durham.

When you meet John-Michael, you immediately see a young man of great intelligence with a spark of creative ideas to work with others in collaboration to make our world a better place. He has a true gift of being able to really connect with people and listens intently to their hopes, concerns, and needs.

John-Michael is a skilled educator who goes to extraordinary means to mentor and challenge the youthful members of our community to become the best versions of themselves and to strive for excellence. Early in his career John-Michael helped to start a national non-profit organization to assist at-risk students, and to this day Future Project is still at work in many states across the country. He currently is the executive director of Arts for Learning CT, a non-profit organization that delights and inspires thousands of students in the state of Connecticut with meaningful and rigorous art experiences that help shape their creative spirit.

With boundless energy and focus, John-Michael Parker will work hard for us to promote economic growth for all and support for small businesses, along with safe and best practices in our schools. He will face and confront the imminent problems that are our greatest challenges, the pandemic and healthcare .
