A True Independent Voice

I am a registered Democrat who is endorsing State Representative Noreen Kokoruda (R-101) this Nov. 3. They say that all politics is local, but over the last two election cycles I have become distressed over the degree that non-Madison influencers have brought financing and non-local solicitation to my neighborhood door. It appears today that control is more important than content.

Noreen always says that it’s “people over party,” and she’s right! What guides Noreen is what is right and best for her community, not what is dictated to her from Hartford or her party. Her independent voice is respected in Hartford and her independent votes stand out in the 12th District. What’s interesting this year is that Noreen is usually on the ballot on the Independent Party (IP) line, but she’s not on it this year. The IP has merged with a liberal group called the Alliance Party and they have no room for a true independent voice anymore.

I encourage your readers to join me, put people over party, and vote with me to re-elect Noreen Kokoruda, the real independent voice.
