A Leader in Hartford

I am writing to support Sean Scanlon in his re-election to the 98th District Connecticut General Assembly. Sean has been recognized as a leader in Hartford since his arrival there in 2015. He is currently the chair of the Insurance and Real Estate Committee and a member of the Public Health Committee and the State Finance, Revenue and Banking committees. He has worked tirelessly in support of issues around mental health and addiction and helped to write and pass Ethan’s Law, which closed an important loophole in how we store our firearms.

Sean also deserves enormous credit for keeping his constituents informed on local and state matters. He has held community conversations where all were welcomed to share their opinions with him and with each other. Whether the issues concern COVID-19 or the effects of a tornado or the aftermath of a hurricane, Sean is always available to answer our calls, to come and view the problem, and to provide the help and resources we need.

I encourage all your readers to vote for Sean Scanlon for State Assembly on Nov. 3.
