Wouldn’t it be Wonderful

I would like to take a moment to thank State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) of North Haven. It is not often that I write a letter praising a politician, but in this case it is well deserved and should be recognized.

I had contacted Dave about overgrown shrubbery on Route 22 in North Haven. The state had not trimmed this shrubbery since last year, making coming out of my driveway a death trap! I asked Dave if he would help me and he responded, “Absolutely, it’s my job.” Within four days, my problem was solved, the shrubbery was cut down, and once again it was safe to leave my driveway.

When I called Dave to thank him, he just said again “It’s my job.” Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone did their job with as much pride as Representative Yaccarino?

I plan on meeting Dave in person and thanking him again. Dave does a great job and he has my vote on Nov. 3.
