Take a Collective Breath

As a long time Madison resident, I appreciated all the good and hard work that Eileen Banisch has done for the town and community. She has always put the common good foremost in her efforts.

I strongly reject the premise that she should lose her job at the Madison Chamber of Commerce for a minor joke (maybe in poor taste as bagels go) that some have seized upon as a cause noir to inflict what damage they can. In these times of hyper-politics, we really need to take a collective breath and return to our good senses.
