Meaningful, Positive Connections

Since State Representative Joe Zullo (R-99) took office last February, I’ve continued to be impressed with his constituent service and availability to both our town officials and residents. He’s shown, in both his votes in Hartford and in his work in-district, that he truly understands our community’s needs. Having known him since he was a young child, I think his connection to our community has shown in all of his work.

I recall Joe, as a child, volunteering alongside his father Al Zullo with our local chamber of commerce. During the early days of the pandemic, it was refreshing to see Rep. Zullo working with our chamber and using those connections to put on live video updates for businesses on topics like unemployment benefits.

Throughout his early career, Joe built connections with our teachers and parents as he volunteered in our schools mentoring children. A few weeks ago, I was proud to hear he was at the high school listening to the concerns of those same teachers and parents about the district’s re-opening plans.

Joe deserves re-election as our state representative not only because he fights for our community in Hartford, but because he maintains meaningful, positive connections right here in our community. He has my support and I encourage your readers to consider supporting him as well.
