Energy, Authenticity, and Passion

I’m proud to endorse John-Michael Parker for state representative in the 101st Assembly District because of his energy, authenticity, and passion. I am an 18-year-old sophomore at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. I first met John-Michael Parker in high school during my junior year of high school. I was organizing the March for Our Lives event at Daniel Hand and John-Michael, who despite being in the midst of his first bid for state representative (which he only lost by 18 votes) reached out to us and offered his support.

What struck me was how genuinely excited he was. John-Michael Parker had nothing to gain from us high schoolers; we couldn’t vote. Yet he reached out and took action. He genuinely cares about the community. He showed up in a way that I hadn’t experienced from politicians before.

After working with him on his campaign, I learned that my experience wasn’t an isolated instance. Throughout his life, John-Michael Parker has exemplified the care, concern, and drive that I expect, but rarely see from politicians. John-Michael was raised in Madison, and after starting a non-profit, has come home to give back to our community. Recently, he worked at Hand with our award-winning show choir and has served on many different boards and commissions here in Madison.

John isn’t afraid of hard work, and with your readers’ votes, he can ensure that Connecticut takes care of people, prepares them to succeed, and build communities where they can thrive! John-Michael Parker is the candidate we need to take on this critical turning point in American, and Connecticut’s history. I encourage your readers to check out his website jmp4ct.com for more information.
