Continued, Steady Leadership

In this tumultuous time in which we find ourselves, I am proud to support and vote for the continued, steady leadership of State Senator Christine Cohen (D-12) and State Representative Sean Scanlon (D-98), who have both served Guilford and the rest of their districts with calm and competence.

From leading the General Assembly’s Environment Committee to championing small business-friendly legislation and helping shepherd gun safety legislation, Christine Cohen has been tremendously effective and successful in her first term in the Senate.

In his third term, Sean Scanlon was instrumental in the passage of consequential bills on mental health parity, insulin pricing caps, and access to telehealth.

They are both tireless in advocating for their constituents, most recently during the storms and power outages that hit our area. We need to keep Senator Cohen and Representative Scanlon up in Hartford, working for us and championing Guilford.
