Healthy, Safe, and Prosperous

I am pleased to write this letter of support to re-elect State Senator Christine Cohen (D-12) for the 12th District of the State Legislature. Senator Cohen has been working tirelessly these past two years to keep our community and state healthy, safe, and prosperous. She is protecting Connecticut’s environment while serving as chairperson of the Environmental Committee, focusing on issues affecting coastal towns, cities, and waterways.

As a small business owner herself, Senator Cohen has demonstrated her expertise in business while serving as vice chair of the Commerce Committee, reducing business taxes, and helping to pass the Paid Family and Medical Leave Act in Connecticut. She has also worked incessantly to prevent gun violence as a proponent of Ethan’s Law.

I am most grateful for Senator Cohen’s accessibility to her constituents. She listens to our concerns intently and quickly responds to our questions. Her videos on legislative initiatives have been very helpful and informative. Above all, I am most appreciative of her daily updates on the COVID-19 virus and its impact on our state and on our town.

Let’s keep Senator Christine Cohen working for us in the 12th District by voting for her on Nov. 3!
