09/02/2020 08:00 AMI have lived for more than 50 years in the Foxon/Totoket area. My son has lived over 11 years on Totoket Road. The traffic conditions have deteriorated since the road underwent a number of improvements.
Speeding, reckless driving, and illegal mufflers echo loudly throughout the neighborhood. I understand police manpower is a issue, however these very dangerous conditions are going to result in a serious auto accident or a innocent pedestrians death.
The quality of life in this area has deteriorated because of the heavy traffic, noise pollution, and uncaring drivers who continue their care-free attitude brought on partially by a lack of oversight from the local police dept. We need a police presence in this neighborhood sooner rather than later.
