Unifies, Not Divides

The year 2020 has been a year that will be remembered for what has happened in our country, the state, and the 23rd Assembly District. When we look at leadership issues, people have doubts as to who can lead us. However, in the 23rd District we are very fortunate to have Devin Carney (R) as our representative.

Devin grew up here, went to school here, and lives here. He understands the needs of our communities and how to address them. He has fought for us against forced school regionalization, and against new taxes on groceries, critical vet visits, and home sales. He has worked across the aisle to support senior services, combat the opioid crisis, protect the environment, and reduce health care costs; assisted families and businesses during the pandemic when job losses, closings, and food shortages disrupted our communities; and advocated for our small towns, tourism, local transportation priorities, and our shoreline economy.

His very core is one of a caring individual that does not use a wedge to promote the issues he favors but instead addresses them in a way that unifies and not divides. I encourage your readers to get out and vote on Nov. 3 and re-elect Devin Carney to the State House of Representatives.
