In Strong Opposition

As a member of the Indian Neck neighborhood, I am in strong opposition to the proposed Tidal Basin proposal scheduled to be heard and considered for approval by the Planning & Zoning Commission on Thursday, Sept. 3.

I am concerned this will bring increased traffic congestion, noise, pollution, and stress on town infrastructure in a known flooding area in which this proposal will occur.

The commission should not grant the developer, Ed Crowley, the right to exploit and impact the marsh and tidal system of the Branford River, an aesthetic jewel of great natural beauty and one that provides recreational value to all our residents.
