On Our Main Street

I would like to have the people of Clinton take a look at the old CVS building. The building is owned by a gentleman from Massachusetts.

I had gotten tired of seeing the overloaded trash can, the dead bushes right in the front, the missing strip of siding; the back was as bad. After all, it does sit on our Main Street. So I wrote to him and enclosed pictures and ask that he clean it up for Clinton’s sake and for his own should he want to sell the property or rent it again. And he did.

Right away the trash can was gone—hoooray, one eyesore gone! Then two days ago, the entire pile of junk in the very back was gone.

I would like to publicly thank Mr. Ken Larson for his prompt attention to this matter and for helping clean up Clinton.
