Concerned Over Apartments

As a member of the Indian Neck community, I am concerned over the Tidal Basin apartments that Mr. Ed Crowley (owner of Stony Creek Brewery) is asking to be approved by the Town of Branford. The site was initially approved for a boutique hotel on 4-6 Indian Neck Avenue and he is now requesting a 30-unit complex on 1.24 acres.

On the July 16 Zoom Planning & Zoning Commission meeting it was stated the units would cost an estimated $300,000 each to build. Besides the issue of density, traffic, and disruption of the wildlife, who will pay the rents needed to make sense to justify a build-out of $300,000 times 30 units without any amenities? Let me also add the units back up to the train tracks and the tenants will have to deal with the noise from the Shoreline East Train and Acela.
