The Engaged Citizen

I write in gratitude to the citizens of Guilford and, in particular, to 31 anonymous volunteers who responded to my request for their expectations of their fellow citizens’ participation in our municipal, state, and national democracies and for their expectations of Connecticut citizens’ preparatory education.

Thanks to their cooperation, I was able to collect and summarize their views and to present them in a successful academic research study at Southern Connecticut State University: “The Engaged Citizen, A Qualitative Study of the Political Participation of a Convenience Sample of New England Residents.”
