In Violation

The Valley Railroad Company is storing unused rail cars in the Town of Deep River, which is in violation of its lease with the town and zoning regulations. Numerous messages and letters have been sent to our zoning enforcement officer, Julia Scanlon, who has refused to contact any of the authors about this important issue.

Valley Railroad Vice-president Robert Bradway was contacted by a resident and he displayed total disregard to this policy violation and refused to move the railcars.

I and my wife personally spent more than 40 years viewing the Connecticut River with our morning coffee. Now I can’t even see the river nor can others because of these railcars.
