Feel Safe and Secure

I would like to remind all of my Guilford friends and neighbors that COVID-19 needs to be taken seriously. Keeping a six-foot distance apart and wearing a face mask in public—these are important and necessary measures to take in order to keep not only ourselves, but others as well, safe and healthy.

This is paramount in my mind because yesterday, several good Samaritans approached a woman to offer help. However, they were unmasked and came much closer than she was comfortable with. Yes, it is Guilford and we all feel safe and secure here, but COVID-19 doesn’t care about sacred spaces. I encourage your readers to honor the CDC guidelines even here.
