Was a Great Asset

I would like to thank Kim Syrel, licensed consulting arborist, for her outstanding work as Clinton’s tree warden. For the past two years, Kim has worked on several projects with the Clinton Tree Committee and that is how I got to know her, both personally and professionally.

She brings a lot of expertise and energy to our projects and has been instrumental in working with the committee on scouting out good planting locations, monitoring town trees that need extra care or replacement, mitigating the effects of over-zealous tree removal proponents, and advocating for our town’s best interests with the utility companies.

Without any input from the Clinton Tree Committee, the Town Council chose not to renew Kim’s appointment at the April 16 Town Council meeting. She was a great asset to the team and she will be missed.
