More than Convenience

I became a fan of Bishop’s Orchards upon moving to the area in 1980. Through the years, my appreciation for the way they do business has only grown. Yesterday I placed an order from thousands of products listed on its website and at 2:40 p.m. this afternoon it will have my order assembled and run it out to my car.

For a local, family owned business, I find this level of service astonishing—something that took long-term planning and great commitment to a service that may have looked for a marginal payoff. Now, in the time of COVID-19, that foresight provides far more than convenience. It may well be saving lives.
