Dedicated to Beautifying

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the residents of the town of East Haven and adjacent communities to Shoreline Community Garden Club. Our name should not be confused with a “community garden,” through which each participant takes care of a small plot of land in a designated area. We are a non-political non-profit (501-c3), dedicated to beautifying the public areas in the town of East Haven with plantings and garden areas. Some of our current projects are at the fountain on Messina Drive, the Beach House, the dog shelter, the Veterans Memorial on the Green, and the fire house on Main Street. We will also be working at the Trolley Museum this spring.

We are currently looking to expand our membership, and would welcome anyone interested in participating in our group. Our first meeting of the year will be on Thursday, March 19, at 6 p.m. at the Beach House on Cosey Beach Avenue, East Haven. Specific details about our activities and membership requirements will be available at that time.
