Good Friends Like These

Thirty-seven dedicated volunteers worked several hours to prepare the Scranton Library Friends (SLF) Membership mailing. The SLF provides support for library programs for all ages, helps with sponsoring various projects, and contributes to the cost of the library operating expenses. Our renovated and expanded new library will open this summer. We look forward to a beautiful new space in which there will be many exciting projects. I encourage your readers to join the SLF and contribute to a new era in the library.

Many thanks go to all of you for their hard work.

We also thank Cohen’s Bagels who provided delicious bagels for munching while we worked and Griswold American Legion Post #79 for generously allowing SLF the use of its hall to work on the mailing. Without good friends like these, getting out the mailing would be a much harder task.

Members’ SLF membership fee helps support the library and is much appreciated.
