03/04/2020 07:00 AMSelectman Scott Murphy insulted the voters of Madison at the Board of Selectmen meeting on Feb. 24.
The Democrats on the Board of Selectmen at the meeting said that they didn’t want voters to be confused when they went in to vote, so there should be a special referendum (at additional cost to Madison taxpayers! Not to mention your precious time) in October to vote on Academy School and the School Facilities questions. When Selectman Bruce Wilson said he had faith that Madison voters could handle a ballot with a presidential vote and a bonding vote on it, Selectman Scott Murphy said, “I respectfully disagree.”
I encourage the voters of Madison to listen to their elected Democrat leaders. They don’t think we’re intelligent enough to understand how to vote, nor do they value our time!
