A Model Citizen

Doug Traynor passed away Dec. 5. He was a spirited member of the Republican Town Committee (RTC) who served on the Board of Finance, Board of Education, and many other civic boards and commissions throughout Clinton. He will be remembered fondly by many as a model citizen for his intellect, hard work, and dedication to the town.

He fought for conservative values and his contributions will be missed. His extraordinary credentials, insights, and efforts made a difference. For those who did know Doug, they know that he served on as many as seven boards and commissions at one time and dozens more over the years. New rules now prevent volunteers from serving in multiple elected positions. This makes his shoes even tougher to fill.

The RTC gives thanks to Doug and his family for his service to the RTC and the Town of Clinton.
