12/11/2019 07:00 AMA heartfelt thank you is extended from Meals on Wheels to all the volunteers and drivers who assisted in the delivery of meals on Thanksgiving morning.
A special thank you goes to Mrs. Israel and the Calvin Leete School Student Council for their Thanksgiving decorations and to Mrs. Catlin for her assistance in coordinating the effort at the school. Thanks also goes to the 2nd grade classes of Ms. Sarja and Mrs. Jennings and to Mrs. Pierce’s 4th grade class at Melissa Jones School for their lovely Thanksgiving cards.
We would also like to thank Blazing Fresh Donuts for preparing additional treats for the Meals on Wheels recipients and to the anonymous donor for the very generous gift of donuts.
A total of 61 meals were delivered by 13 drivers to 50 homes.
