An Inspired Idea

I loved Tedd Levy’s tribute [Nov. 14 letter “A Priority to Share”] to the late Bill Manning, who personified the Old Saybrook Post Office (recently named the best post office in the state, by the way).

I think his suggestion—to retire Bill’s personal P.O. Box with a special plaque—is an inspired idea, and would be a fitting memorial to express the gratitude of our community.
