Common Sense

In reading State Senator Norm Needleman’s Oct. 24 column “A New Approach to Transportation,” I must say that I was quite perplexed. He states there is going to be a new approach to fixing transportation and shares “Governor Ned Lamont is planning to introduce a new proposal, one that first targets the problems before determining what the solution will be.”

He states this as some sort of novel idea. Isn’t it common sense to determine the problem(s) before finding solutions? Perhaps this speaks to why our state government is unable to solve the issues plaguing the state.
