Life Experience and Passion

This is an honor to be nominated for town clerk and have an opportunity to serve. I’ve been knocking on doors, talking to residents, listening to their concerns and vision for our town. I’ve been told countless times we need new faces and fresh ideas. This is my first time running for an elected position, however, I’m not new to public service or elections. I have many skills to offer East Haven as our town clerk. I’ve been employed in a demanding administrative position for 10-plus years. My professional skills also include IT support, which increases my value to any office. I’m currently the assistant registrar of voters; I have many responsibilities on Election Day. Certified as a moderator, I understand the rules and enjoy working with residents on this day. I truly found my calling and need your readers’ support to reach my goal of being elected East Haven town clerk.

As co-president of Momauguin School PTO, I’d like to think I’m approachable for any and all issues parents may have. Being elected as town clerk would be an amazing opportunity to open a line of communication for all East Haven residents. My life experience and passion for our town has driven me to seek this position in public service. I have a clear understanding of the town clerk’s role. As I have done with my family, my job and my volunteering, I will give 100 percent every minute of every day.
