Fair-Minded, Well-Educated

I applaud all of our residents who have stepped up to volunteer to serve on the boards of our community! I am writing particularly in support of Brian Wiley, the candidate running for the Board of Assessment Appeals.

Brian is an active community member who is passionately concerned about civic engagement and our right as voters to participate in our democratic electoral process. With this in mind, Brian has stepped up to run for the Board of Assessment Appeals, giving taxpayers the opportunity to appeal their tax bases. Every appeal must be heard and the board must be fair and consistent in their decisions. This board exists to serve the people in our town.

Brian Wiley is a fair-minded, well-educated man whose temperament and background are well suited to working with others and modeling bipartisanship in this divided time in our nation. I wholeheartedly support Brian Wiley for Board of Assessment Appeals. With Brian on the board, I am confident that any member of our community who finds him or herself needing to appeal an assessment can be assured a fair and balanced hearing.

Regardless of party, we voters owe it to our town, to our democracy, and to all of the candidates to get out, have our voices heard in our democracy, and vote on Nov 5.
