Continue to Thrive

I am writing to support David Fitzgibbons, Rebecca Greenberg-Ellis, Charlene Fearon, and Dale Bernardoni for the Chester Elementary Board of Education. They all have many years of educational experience as teachers, administrators, and/or educational advocates. Collectively they have successfully worked together with school administrations, teachers, and students. Chester Elementary School is number one in Middlesex County and in the top tier statewide.

Fitzgibbons has been chair of the elementary school board for the past eight years and a former board of directors member of Tri-Town Youth Services. Greenberg-Ellis is a public education policy advocate, member of Region 4 Safety and Security Committee, and PTO volunteer. Fearon has been a board member since 2014, member of the Joint BOE Curriculum Committee, and is a retired special educator and mentor at Chester Elementary school. Bernardoni has more than 40 years of experience as a teacher and school principal. With their collaborative skills and focus on transparency, educational equity, educator effectiveness, and school safety, I am confident CES will continue to thrive.

This team of Democratic candidates is responsive to fiscal challenges caused by state mandates and restraints. They have the experience to balance support of school administration, educational curriculum, teachers, and students, while simultaneously addressing infrastructure and safety needs. Chester elementary students continue to excel and exceed state testing averages.

We need their knowledge, experience, and dedication to educational excellence and fiscal responsibility. I encourage your readers to join me and vote for these candidates on Nov. 5 for Chester Board of Education.
