A Strong Moral Compass

Once again we will exercise our Constitutional right, privilege, and duty on the first Tuesday of November as we, the electorate, go to the polls to cast our vote. As I have before, I will use the black marker-pen to fill in the small circle alongside the name of Tom Banisch for first selectman. He has experience in the job. That’s important.

With the flurry of letters to The Source and placards dotting our lawns all over town, I’m encouraged that we may have a well-informed voting populace, this time. That’s important.

Tom always listens. He is fair. But here is what is so critical: My candidate must be honest, a person of character and trustworthy. I know these to be Tom’s virtues. He is a person with a strong moral compass. That’s important.

I encourage your readers to join me on Nov. 5, with the black marker-pen in hand, to fill in the small circle alongside the name Tom Banisch for first selectman. That’s very important!
