As my term as selectman is coming to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the residents of Chester for entrusting me to serve as their selectman. It has been an honor to represent all of them over the past two years. Recently, I decided to take on the role as fire chief of The Chester Hose Company Incorporated once again. In doing so, I decided not to seek re-election for selectman. While I’ve enjoyed serving as selectman, I felt that at this time my skills would be best utilized as fire chief in serving the Town of Chester.

I am proud to endorse Tom Englert for selectman. Tom has served as selectman in the past and currently serves on the Chester Board of Education. Tom brings with him experience and dedication. I am confident he will make the town proud to have him as selectman once again.

As a lifelong resident of Chester, I am proud to have served the town in the capacity of selectman and will continue to serve the residents as fire chief.

Selectman James Grzybowski (R)
