To Continue Serving

I am a Branford Representative Town Meeting 1st District member. I want to continue serving my town on the RTM. I encourage your readers to vote for me.

I chair the RTM Education Committee, which recommends funding amounts for the Board of Education and our two libraries. I am also on the RTM Administrative Services Committee. I am experienced in the town budgeting process. I believe that our taxes should be kept as low as possible, while maintaining our high level of town services and educational excellence.

We also need to grow our Grand List each year with low-impact development.

Every vote that I make on the RTM, yes or no, is made only after I consider the impact on my fellow 1st District residents. For me to vote “Yes” on an issue I need to know that there will be a positive result for 1st District residents.

I always keep myself fully engaged and informed in the RTM process and put in the time required. I am always available to discuss town issues and concerns with constituents.

Our first selectman, Jamie Cosgrove, is unopposed. Jamie makes decisions for Branford that are nonpartisan, based on what is in Branford’s best interest. The expansions of the Walsh Intermediate School, Trapasso Community House, Branford Senior Center, and Blackstone Library are all fine projects, all long overdue prior to Jamie’s 2013 election.

I encourage your 1st District readers to vote for me on Nov. 5 for RTM and the entire Cosgrove for Branford team at the Trapasso Community House.
