Roots Run Deep

I plan to cast my vote for Bob Hartmann to become a member of Guilford’s Board of Finance and I’d recommend that all Guilford residents do the same. Why? It’s simple. We can count on Bob to utilize his life-long personal framework of fiscal conservatism and effective teamwork to act on each issue that comes before the BOF.

Bob’s volunteerism roots run deep as chair of the Guilford Pension Committee and through his many other past and current Board memberships and presidencies, including Guilford’s Facilities Task Force, Guilford Keeping Society, Rotary, and Guilford Community Fund.

Bob is Guilford through and through as a Guilford High School graduate who was born and raised in our town. He has brought his experience in banking, credit trading, fund management, and wealth advising that he gained during three decades in New York and London back to Guilford to run his local business, Hartmann Group tax preparation and consulting.

Bob knows where Guilford has been, where it is, and where it should continue to go. We can all count on Bob to use the experience that he gained both in and out of Guilford to ensure taxpayers prudently invest in necessary services that maintain our town’s character.

For these reasons, and many more, I encourage your readers to join me in voting for Bob Hartmann on Nov. 5.
