Listen, Learn, and Act

What I am looking for in a mayor is a person who understand the quality of life issues in town and is will work to address them, someone who has the ability to work through adversity to accomplish these goals. We need a mayor who will bring greater economic development while respecting the concerns of residents of our varied neighborhoods.

We need a mayor who possesses proven success both in his personal life as well as his professional endeavors, one who understands the benefits and supports the importance of community. These are characteristics a person who will listen to his department heads objectively, support them when they are correct, and stand up to ideas that do not improve the quality of life in East Haven. We need a mayor who is not afraid of change, who is willing to look into innovative ways to improve town operations and costs.

Steve Tracey has overcome adversity to become a successful business owner; this does not happen unless you are willing to listen, learn, and then act. Steve is a family man and is blessed to have 12 grandchildren. He will support our Board of Education in efforts improve education for all East Haven students. As a property owner, he understands the impact education as well as neighborhood blight have on property values.

Steve will work to bring the change needed. I believe Steve Tracey is the man we are looking for. I encourage your readers to vote for Steve Tracey for mayor.
