Good Old-Fashioned Politics

One only need turn on the news to be overwhelmed by the lack of civil discourse among our politicians. The issues seem to be lost along party lines as one side or the other works to slow the workings of government. Here in Westbrook, we take a different tack.

In our town, the needs of Westbrook rise above party lines. While this was not always the case, it has been First Selectman Noel Bishop who has made it his mission to use good old-fashioned politics to run the town. I’ve had the opportunity to sit in on many Board of Selectmen and Board of Finance meetings. Noel listens to what everyone, regardless of party affiliation, has to say and makes his decisions based on what is best for the people of Westbrook.

In November, I encourage your readers to put their party aside and vote for what is best for Westbrook: Vote to re-elect First Selectman Noel Bishop.
