A Steady Hand

During Filmore McPherson’s prior service as first selectman and on the Board of Finance, he improved the town’s credit rating and financial position while still building a new Ambulance Center, Senior Center, and the Strong Field complex (a public-private partnership). He was a steady hand through Irene and Sandy and rebuilt after the storms.

Working with him on the Madison Land Trust’s Investment Committee, I found him to be a personable leader and strong financial conservative. He is the ideal candidate for Board of Finance!
