Shown Great Independence

I am writing in support of Phil Sengle as a member of Board of Police Commissioners in Clinton. In a town where politics are very partisan, Phil has shown great independence as a previous member of this commission and most recently as a selectmen.

Working closely with First Selectman Christine Goupil (who also has done an excellent job for Clinton), Phil has shown that a D or an R next to your name is not where your allegiance should lie. His interest is always in doing what is best for Clinton.

Phil has helped lead Clinton to a change in town government from selectmen to a town manager and now leads the search to help us find the best candidate for that role.

Clinton is very fortunate to have a great chief of police in Vince DeMaio and he needs a good working relationship with the town leadership to continue to succeed. It is essential that Phil Sengle be a part of that relationship.

Mr. Sengle is running as a Green Party candidate. This seems like a good time to consider the other Green party candidates as well.
