Honest and Transparent Actions

My name is Adam Moore and I am a candidate for the Planning & Zoning Commission (PZC) in Clinton. It is my strong belief that my 25 years of experience in dealing with zoning and regulations in the construction industry and proven leadership abilities are exactly what the PZC needs as it continues to work through some of the biggest developments Clinton has seen over the past few years. We need to dispel the rumors and accusations the surround the PZC through honest and transparent actions that represent the best interests of Clinton.

Now is an important time for Clinton. We are on the verge of significant economic development on properties that residents have complained have been dormant too long. We need to bolster our land use department by hiring a new zoning enforcement officer and town planner, something the last administration could not bring to closure. We need to continue to modify our regulations to remove the contradictions and bring them more into alignment with our Plan of Conservation and Development. As a commission member, I will work diligently to ensure we put our best foot forward on these issues.

As a long time resident of Clinton, a father of two children currently in the Clinton school system, and an active member of the Clinton community, it will be my honor and pleasure to continue to serve this town on the PZC.

I hope that Clinton residents will support me and the other Republican candidates in the November election.
