From Beginning to End

On behalf of the board of directors of GCTV, we would like to thank our community for its admiration during the Guilford Citizen’s Parade. GCTV is your readers’ community television station and can be seen on Comcast channels 18, 19, and 20 and Frontier channels 6027, 6028, and 6029. Those who were along the parade route might see themselves televised on GCTV. For more than 20 years, GCTV has been filming this great event. The parade was filmed from beginning to end and will be televised during the next few weeks.

My wife and I had the pleasure driving the GCTV car sponsored by Hammonasset Ford, as we drove, filmed, and talked to many. Thanks go to CherylAnn Wambolt and Steve Mantilia of Hammonasset Ford. Most of all, thanks got to the people of Guilford for supporting us and letting us film so many events, and educate many of all ages on the art of film making.

Did you know that our studio is available for creating media? Residents can volunteer; we are always looking and volunteers can help produce community television. Residents can learn and create YouTube videos, edit video, and make their own promo video. Guilford Community Television is a not for profit 501(c)(3) available 24/7 and is online at www.GuilfordTV.org.

Finally, we would like to thank the Guilford Parade Committee for all the hard work that goes into this event. We appreciate them all.

Marcel P. Blanchet, Director
