I encourage your readers to join me in voting for First Selectman Carl Fortuna, Selectman Scott Giegerich, and Treasurer Bob Fish on Nov. 5. We live in an amazing town with people who care about our community and how it looks both to residents and non-residents.

We are a town that values education, safety, and good government, which we have had for eight years with Carl, Scott, and Bob. Competency in local government is important when dealing with the all that is thrown at towns from the state and the federal government. We have had that for eight years and we should be proud of that.

Carl is an advocate and cheerleader for all things Saybrook, standing up to state legislation that seeks to decimate the character of our town with crazy rules and regulations. Carl’s entire team this year is excellent with new names and great skill sets. I plan to vote for vote for Carl, Scott, and Bob and the entire team on Nov. 5.
