A Superior Level

As a long-time Madison resident, I have had ample opportunities to evaluate the job performance of many of our first selectmen. Most have done a good job, few have performed at a low level, and few have performed at a superior level. Tom Banisch executes his duties and responsibilities at a superior level.

Under Tom’s leadership, we have increased the number of roads paved, continued work on the enhancement of our downtown, added new businesses to our tax base, and developed a strategic plan for our town, all while maintaining minimal tax increases. In addition, Madison’s credit rating continues to be excellent and we all benefit.

Tom has worked hard to keep Madison a great place to live, work, and raise our families. I am proud to say that I live in Madison. I encourage your readers to support Tom Banisch on Nov. 5.
