Town Above Self

I am writing to encourage people to vote for Bob Hartmann for election to the Guilford Board of Finance in November.

Bob’s commitment to the town together with his 30 years of experience in finance and tax preparation will serve the Board of Finance and the residents of Guilford well over the next four years. Bob is familiar with the challenges Guilford faces when trying to preserve the characteristics that make Guilford unique while at the same adapting in a fiscally responsible way to changing economic circumstances.

Guilford’s greatest strength has always been its people and their willingness to serve the town before their own interests. Bob is a great example of an individual placing town above self. He currently serves on both the Guilford Pension Committee and the Guilford Facilities Task Force. Bob is also the president of the Guilford Keeping Society, an ambassador for The Guilford Foundation, and a friend of Guilford Youth Mentoring. He is an active Rotarian and served as a past president of the Guilford Rotary Club.

This experience and level of involvement make Bob Hartmann an outstanding candidate to continue his service to the town and its residents on the Board of Finance. I encourage Guilford’s voters to support him.
