I am furious about petitioning mayoral candidate Oni Sioson’s ridiculous letter [Sept. 26 “Divide and Conquer”]. He took Democratic mayoral candidate Joe Carfora’s simple phrase “one of us for all of us” and tried to turn it into some kind of racial or ethnic innuendo. Has he completely lost his mind?

When I read “one of us for all of us,” I immediately thought of a regular guy working hard and trying to do the right thing for other hardworking regular guys. I’m sure everyone else in this town did also. Not Sioson! He saw pro-Italian propaganda that discriminates against other races and ethnic groups. That tells me that he’s the racist here. Who thinks that way?

Its people like him who are the reason for all the racial division in this country today. How dare he libel another candidate for his own political gain? It’s disgusting, outrageous, and inciteful. He should be ashamed.
