Please Support Your Community News Site's COVID Coverage

The coronavirus crisis has nearly halted the local economy — including media advertising. That means local, independent news organizations such as ours must fight for our own survival while continuing to provide critical news and information as a public service during this unprecedented situation. As the municipal election approaches in Branford on Tuesday, Nov. 5, I strongly endorse Rich Saltz for Representative Town Meeting (RTM) for the 1st District.

As a financial professional and currently the CFO of Choate Rosemary Hall for more than 10 years, he has provided financial and budgetary stewardship he most certainly will utilize with the town of Branford. Fiscal responsibility is a part of Rich’s DNA and he will bring his budgetary discipline and knowledge to the Branford RTM. His ability to ask the right questions about how the town spends taxpayer dollars is important to every town taxpayer.

All residents in the First District would be served well by the representation of Rich Saltz, Democratic candidate for the Branford RTM in the 1st District. I encourage your readers to vote Row A.
