Bring the Issues to the People

I love Clinton. I love the people of Clinton. I was born in Clinton in 1971 and I have lived here for most of my life. I have seen Clinton evolve over the years, watching some great things happen and some less-favorable things happen. Rather than complain, I feel an ownership in the current state of affairs and I want to make a difference in the future of this beautiful town. That is the reason I am running for Board of Education.

After I graduated from Morgan in 1989, I attended Dickinson College and later received my MBA in finance from Babson College. I used this education that began in Clinton to lead a successful business career in financial services for the last 27 years.

I am very involved in sports in this town. I find this rewarding, a way for me to connect to my own children and to many kids in this town. Nothing makes me more fulfilled than seeing a child in town that I coached and hopefully influenced in some positive way become a successful young adult.

I am married to Becky and have seven beautiful children, who all attend school in Clinton. In fact, I have a child in every single school in town. My mother was a teacher at Eliot for 35 years.

I want to use the background that I have described above to provide the foundation for my opinions, but I would come to the Board of Education with an open mind. I want to bring the issues to the people to help us drive outcomes together. I am always available in town, on the ball fields, at teacher conferences, etc. to discuss the issues that impact our children. We can make Clinton great together.
