An Excellent Choice

I am writing in support of Alfred “Chub" Wilcox for the Old Saybrook Police Commission. In April of this year, he was appointed to the recently vacated seat on the Police Commission. He was an excellent choice. Chub Wilcox has a gift for the narrative and clearly articulates his point. He believes that the best solutions come from a collaborative approach where everyone works toward the best outcome.

Chub Wilcox was a successful lawyer in Philadelphia for 40 years and, though retired, he wanted to use his considerable knowledge and skills to be helpful and contribute to the town’s betterment. We are fortunate to have such a qualified individual in service to our community.

I am a retired physician who had a practice based in Essex for more than 30 years, so I know Old Saybrook and its residents well. I believe Alfred “Chub” Wilcox will continue to offer honest and dedicated service to our community. He is of the highest moral character and I endorse him, without reservation, to continue to serve on the Old Saybrook Police Commission.
