Knowledge, Experience, and Dedication

Jane Scully Welch is a native of Clinton who loves her town. She lived away for several years but always considered Clinton to be her home town.

In recent years, she has devoted much of her time to the betterment of Clinton. She is the co-founder of the Pretty Committee, which is a group that helps beautify and decorated various parts of town. Her other volunteer organizations are the Lions Club and the Brilliant and Entertaining Women of Clinton, which support family service organizations of town.

Politically, she serves on the Board of Finance. Recently Jane has been disillusioned with the oppositionist agendas of both the Democratic and Republican parties. Therefore she is running for a position on the Town Council as an independent.

Jane sees that the most important job of the new Town Council will be the selection of a town manager. Her knowledge, experience, and dedication to Clinton and a lack of political agenda would make her a very valuable member of the new Town Council.
