I am writing this letter in support of Rick Swan for Old Saybrook Board of Finance. As a lifelong resident and one who has known Rick for more than 40 years, I believe he will bring common-sense approaches to important town financial decisions. He’s a good listener and problem solver.

Rick is invested in our community. He knows that maintaining quality of life, whether it is our schools, our roads, our municipal buildings, or our tax base and businesses, is essential to keeping Old Saybrook the envy of the shoreline.

He’s the real deal and I’m proud to support him. I encourage your readers to make him their choice this November.
