Without Conflicts of Interest

Alan Kravitz has a master’s degree in regional planning from the University of North Carolina and 15 years of planning experience, five of them as chairman of the planning board of a New York municipality prior to moving to Clinton. Alan is a hard-working, skilled professional without any conflicts of interest and can always be counted upon to do the right thing even if it is not the popular position. Sadly, rather than working on behalf of Clinton, members of the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals have often been motivated by their own financial interests and expediency rather than the interests of the town.

Alan was involved and spent months working on the Town Plan of Development and has shown a willingness to work on things with others to come up with the best possible solutions for Clinton. He shared much of the labor with those from other political parties. We need Alan Kravitz on the Planning & Zoning Commission.
